A letter from the maker behind Faedorable™ Some magic doesn’t sparkle. Some of it is forged — in fire, in tears, in the quiet rooms where grief and love collide. Faedorable™ may be filled with glitter and faerie dust, but it was born out of something far deeper: a wish to preserve joy, even when everything else was being lost. Between 2007 and 2014, my world unraveled. I was a mother, a maker, and a memory-keeper. I had children performing in dance troupes. I was helping design and direct the mythic themes of school productions like Shakti & the Perils of Doom. I was painting fairy faces at the Hawkesbury Show. I was collecting stories, crafting wings, building worlds. And then — I was caring for a terminally ill loved one. I was watching boxes of creations get eaten by termites. I was losing domains, dreams, and footage I thought I’d always have. But I never lost the names. I never let go of The Wish Faeries. I never stopped believing in Faedorable.

The Heart of Faedorable™
Magic can often be seen shimmering on the surface—glittering, bright, and enchanting. Yet, there exists another kind of magic, a raw and resilient kind that doesn't sparkle at first glance. It’s the magic that is forged—through fire, through tears, and in the quiet moments where love and grief intertwine. This is the essence of Faedorable™, a brand created out of a wish to preserve joy even when life seems to strip it away.
A Journey Through Chaos and Creation
Between 2007 and 2014, my world felt like it was unraveling. As a mother, a maker, and a memory-keeper, I experienced both the whirlwind of creativity and the depths of sorrow. My days were filled with the laughter of children dancing in troupes, the thrill of directing school productions infused with mythic themes, and the encouragement of young hearts as they took the stage. I painted faces at the Hawkesbury show and gathered stories to knit together the fabric of joy for my loved ones.
But then, as life often does, it took a turn—my time became consumed with caring for ill family members. That period was an intimate confrontation with the fragility of life. It was during these moments of heartache and overwhelming love that I began to understand the deeper meanings behind joy and creativity. This juxtaposition of light and darkness cemented the core idea behind Faedorable™, where I poured all my experiences and emotions into creating something that would stand the test of time, section by section.
The Essence of Resilience
Faedorable™ may be adorned with its fair share of glitter and faerie dust, but its true power lies in its ability to honor the moments that don’t sparkle. It acknowledges that some magic is born out of hardship. Each piece created carries with it a story, a memory, and a promise to find beauty in the mundane and the serious. It’s a celebration of resilience—the ability to forge joy from sorrow, and light from shadow.
As you explore the Faedorable™ collections, remember that each character within our unfolding story verse reflects not just an aesthetic, but a history. It’s a reminder that even in our hardest times, there can be a spark of creativity that ignites joy and hope. It encourages us all to embrace both our grief and our love, intertwining them to create a tapestry that echoes our lives that is as beautiful as it is complex.
So the next time you come across something that resonates with you from Faedorable™, pause for a moment and think about its journey. Know that behind that glimmer lies a story of strength, passion, and an unwavering belief in the power of preserving joy. Because true magic, after all, isn’t always about the sparkle—sometimes, it’s about the journey behind it.
